MEMORY VERSES: Acts 12:4-5
After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
THOUGHT TO REMEMBER
When you are going through some difficult trials in life, it is good to have the Church praying for you.

Something to Think About
WHEN PRAYING IS DIFFICULT Oswald Elbert
We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. * Romans 8:26b (NIV)
How often do you and I know that we can’t pray satisfactorily? Thoughts and memories crowd into our minds when we would pray. They seem to stop us in our tracks. The very line of communication seems to be cut off. We rise from prayer as if nothing took place, or, even worse, as if we were moving further from God.
For such situations, this verse comes as comfort. There is one who pleads for us. He takes our unexpressed thoughts and words, our sighs and groanings, and brings them before God’s throne.
The Holy Spirit is God’s gracious gift to the troubled soul. This Spirit is a helper and strengthener in our prayer life. God does not ever let us walk alone. The Holy Spirit is constantly with us. Let this truth strengthen you.
Even when we don’t seem able to pray ourselves, there is one who knows us, and takes the deep longings of our hearts and presents them for us in prayer.
Even when we don’t seem able to pray ourselves, there is one who knows us, and takes the deep longings of our hearts and presents them for us in prayer.

From the Pastor’s heart;
Don’t forget to use this time to reach out to others. Spend some time each day calling members on the telephone and offering to pray with them.

Pastors Requests
Remember II Chronicles 7:14. “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.”
Remember II Chronicles 7:14. “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.”
While we wait on God’s healing grace, let us fast and pray for His visitation. Pray for God to intervene and bring an end to this virus that we are facing. Pray for God to calm our spirits and help us to trust Him.
Pray for the lost to be saved. Pray for the unrighteous to turn to God. Pray for God to be glorified in the crisis we are going through. Pray in faith; pray with the confidence that God will hear and answer our prayers.
