We extend sincere condolences to Mrs. Corrie Council and family in the passing of her son, Mr. Bennie Council Jr. and Mrs. Belinda Hamer in the passing of her brother, in Great Falls, Virginia. The funeral service for Mr. Bennie Council will be held on Saturday, April 25th at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home & Crematory in Alexandria, Va.

Mr. Taylor AND Mrs. Emma Robinson have written books.

Ms. Jaquay Reed, one of our former members, who resides in Phoenix, Arizona has written a devotional book, entitled, “Prayers and Inspiration.” We want to thank God for her and for her contribution to the Christian ministry. S.O.S (Saving Our Seed)

Why pray for our kids? Our responsibility is to pass on the baton of faith. Our children are being bombarded on every side with new forms of evil every day. The Bible says in Romans 1:30- Men are not only doing evil, but they are inventing new ways of doing evil.
 
Our adult children, grandchildren and spiritual children are battling the enemy’s attacks in ways we’ve not before seen. We are in a battle for coming generations.
 
We invite you to join us on Saturday May 2nd, at Bellevue in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. as we encourage, facilitate and equip for more effective prayer for our children. Our facilitator will be Mrs. Doreen Gordon of Praying for Progeny ministries.

PASTOR’S REQUEST
 
1. Talk to God and let God talk to you by reading His Word daily.
2. Fast and pray one day a week. For members who are on medication that will not permit them to fast, talk to the Pastor about an alternative.
 
3. Lift up every unsaved person that you know by name in prayer. Make an effort to win at least one unsaved person to Christ this calendar year.
4. Pray for unsaved people to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
 
5. Pray for every Christian who have fallen away to renew their relationship with the Lord.
6. Ask God to have His way in your life and every situation.
 
7. Invite someone to Church and Sunday School every week. For people who cannot attend Church in person, invite them to join us via live streaming.
8. Plant the seed of the Gospel whenever the opportunity presents itself.
 
Thank the Lord for the opportunity to share your faith.
